Velocity Dance Center is excited to announce the Strictly Seattle Summer Dance Intensive July 11 - July 31 2010! This summer's amazing Seattle teachers and choreographers include:
Advanced Session: Corrie Befort, Donald Byrd, Beth Graczyk, Bebe Miller, Michele Miller, KT Niehoff, Amy O'Neal, Amelia Reeber, Hannah Wiley
Intermediate Session: Aiko Kinoshita, Ricki Mason, Ellie Sandstrom
Adult Beginning Session: Kristin Hapke, Ricki Mason
Strictly Seattle is our three-week summer dance intensive with six programs offered to satisfy beginning through professional level dancers. The three-week course allows participants to study with up to eight different instructors, work with a choreographer in the creation of a new piece and perform that new work in two professionally produced performances open to the community.
Strictly Seattle gives students, teachers and choreographers the chance to spend three weeks concentrating solely on their art in a supportive and exciting environment in the heart of Seattle's contemporary dance community. It is a forum where dancers meet and work together, forming alliances that are often the basis for future collaborative work.
This year marks the 13th Annual Summer Intensive and the first in our new home! Strictly Seattle Performances are July 30 and 31 at 8pm at The Broadway Performance Hall.
